For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen.

Though our other self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. Hope Brings Us Strength and SecurityĢ Timothy 1:7 – For God gave us a spirit not of fear, but of power and love and self-control.Ģ Corinthians 4:16-18 – So we do not lose heart. When we confidently expect the things that God has promised us, we have found the action of hope that He is intending for us. God tells us in these verses that our hope is not a wishful thought, but an actual action of faith. Mark 9:23 – And Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Psalm 39:7 – And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in you. Proverbs 3:5 – Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Romans 12:12 – Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Hebrews 11:1 – Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Hope is Not Wishful, it is an Act of Faith God gives us hope through His promises to us. With hope, our lives are transformed to be able to endure what we are walking through and realize what is truly important. Without hope, we cannot endure our deepest pains and struggles. God wants our hopes to revolutionize our lives. Proverbs 26:12 – Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him. Proverbs 23:18 – There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. Matthew 19:26 – But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
